Congratulations to the Arts Council of Lafayette Park, Linda Skinner, and all of the community volunteers who made the first installment of the 2009 Movies in the Park series - Spiderman - a great success. It is estimated that over 700 people attended the event on a spectacular Saturday night in Lafayette Park.
This year's movies are intended to raise awareness and funds for local charitable organization. This movie benefited Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri.

PREA Signature Realty was proud to support the event through advertisements in the program and to sponsor the face painter at the event. Unfortunately, there were long lines for the sought after face painter. However, the face painter made sure that no child was left behind and worked hard to get each child their desired face paint design. I can't speak for everyone - but my business partner's children loved the face painter.
Although the movies are a free community event, these events do cost money. Sponsorship opportunies start as low as $25.00 for a business card size advertisement in the movie program.
